Samsung Foundry says SF2P offers up to 12% better performance and 25% lower power consumption compared with SF2. These are process-node improvements, not guaranteed SoC-level gains.
Exynos 2700 vs Exynos 2600
The Exynos 2600 uses Samsung's first-generation 2nm SF2 process and combines a 10-core CPU with an Xclipse 960 GPU. The Exynos 2700 reportedly moves to SF2P and an Xclipse 970 GPU.
Main changes:
- newer 2nm SF2P process;
- lower power consumption;
- higher potential clock speeds;
- upgraded GPU;
- more than 10% higher planned production volume.
Geekbench 6 performance
Samsung's reported internal testing puts Exynos 2700 multi-core performance around 9.5% above Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.
Reported Snapdragon result:
4,308 single-core / 12,856 multi-core
A 9.5% lead would put Exynos 2700 above 14,000 points in multi-core.
Leaked Exynos 2700 results have reached roughly:
- 4,328 single-core
- 14,700 multi-core
Single-core performance is still reported to be below Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. These benchmark results are not yet official retail-device results.
