Tab S12 Ultra vs Tab S11 Ultra
The Dimensity 9500 replaces the Dimensity 9400+ used in the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Most other core specifications remain unchanged.
The Tab S12 Ultra is mainly a processor and software upgrade: the display, cameras, battery, charging speed and dimensions remain largely unchanged.
A new 12.6-inch option
There was no Galaxy Tab S11+ in the previous generation. Samsung offered the 11-inch Tab S11 and 14.6-inch Tab S11 Ultra. The new Tab S12+ fills the gap with a 12.6-inch display and 10,600mAh battery, compared with the 8,400mAh battery in the smaller Tab S11.
Android 17 and Photoshop
Both tablets ship with Android 17 and One UI 9. Adobe Photoshop is pre-installed, marking its debut on Android tablets. Samsung also includes the S Pen with both models, while the 45W power adapter must be purchased separately.

The Tab S12 Ultra starts $100 higher than its predecessor.
European prices range from €1,299 for the Tab S12+ Wi-Fi 256GB to €2,289 for the Tab S12 Ultra 5G 1TB. Both models are available in Gray and Silver, with sales starting October 7.
