Select Xiaomi 18 Fold configurations will use next-generation LPDDR6 memory with bandwidth of up to 113.8GB/s. The higher bandwidth is designed to improve data throughput for the CPU, GPU, multitasking, gaming and on-device AI workloads.
HyperOS 4 and Super XiaoAI 2.0
The Xiaomi 18 Fold runs Xiaomi HyperOS 4 and introduces the new Super XiaoAI 2.0 AI assistant. The combination of the XRING O3 processor and LPDDR6 memory provides the hardware platform for Xiaomi's latest on-device AI features.
New Dragon Bone Hinge
Xiaomi has upgraded the folding mechanism with a new-generation Dragon Bone Hinge. The hinge uses a three-stage linkage structure, designed to improve structural stability and durability while maintaining the compact dimensions required for a foldable smartphone.
Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0 and 7-Series Aluminum
Xiaomi is also upgrading the external materials. The Xiaomi 18 Fold uses Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0 on both the front and back, while the mid-frame is made from aerospace-grade 7-series aluminum alloy.
